When do you need a certified documents & deeds translation?

A certified translation of your documents & deeds is required whenever you need to submit it to a German authority — the Ausländerbehörde, Standesamt, courts, universities or employers. German authorities cannot accept foreign-language documents without a certified German translation produced by a court-sworn translator.

  • Notarial deeds from foreign jurisdictions for German notaries or courts

Frequently asked questions

Do deeds need an apostille before translation?

It depends on the receiving authority. Notaries and courts often require both an apostille (from the issuing country) and a certified translation. The Ausländerbehörde usually only requires the certified translation.

Can you translate multi-page notarial deeds?

Yes. For multi-page documents, each additional page incurs a small per-page fee shown in the order form. Contact us for a custom quote on very long documents.
