7. Berufszulassung / Professional authorisation

Transzlate, A Linguidoor Company acts as an intermediary between customers and sworn translators. All sworn translators working through the Transzlate platform hold official court appointment (Beedigung/Ermächtigung) issued by a German regional court (Landgericht or Oberlandesgericht) for one or more language pairs. The relevant appointing courts are the Landgerichte and Oberlandesgerichte of the respective German federal states.

Certified translation services are regulated by the respective court appointment orders. The applicable professional title is “vereidigter Übersetzer” or “ermächtigter Übersetzer”.

We are not obliged and not prepared to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
